troubled relationships
askerdx asked:

Misery Loves Co. was a Swedish industrial metal duo of the 90’s and early 2000. The band combined the hostility of thrash metal riffs with electronic samples usually associated with industrial music. Their lyrics generally focused on bleak sexual visions and pain over troubled relationships.

“riffs” are guitar chords and solos. so, the hostility would mean that these particular guitar riffs sounded harsh, unruly and hateful – almost angry.
