Contrary to popular belief. (Usually influenced by the chain of command) THE DEFINITION OF FRATERNIZATION IS ENLISTED AND OFFICER having an inappropriate relationship. The UCMJ specifies nothing against other relationships. Some guidance for that can be found is each branches personnel policies but is not Fraternization under the UCMJ.

There are also many exceptions to the rule, just becuase one person is enlisted and one is an officer does not automatically make it fraternization. Here are a few of the exceptions.

1) You are dating someone that is enlisted and becomes an officer while you are dating. You have one years to marry or terminate the relationship. (By Army Policy)

2) You are in a reserve component of the Armed Forces and can prove that your relationship is based on your civilian life and not your military relationship.

Al de antwoorden correct zijn … Je kan worden gedacht en getrouwd met een officier, zoals ik ben. Je kan niet worden gedacht en datum, een officier. Mijn man en ik waren beiden enlisted toen we gedateerd en getrouwd, dan was hij in opdracht nadat we getrouwd. Een tweeledige militaire relatie is niet eenvoudig op enige wijze, dat je moet behoorlijk zelfvoorzienend en onafhankelijk. Succes!

The main restrictions are relationships between enlisted and officers, between NCOs and lower enlisted, and people in the same chain of command. If they were married before one of them got promoted then it is considered an exception (such as two E-4s being married already and then one of them goes to OCS). As of right now, all relationships while in the CENTCOM area of responsibility are prohibited regardless of the rank of the participants unless they are legally married already. This is mainly to prevent the spread of STDs in theater as well as preventing troops from getting sent home early due to pregnancy.

La uni?n entre 2 soldados est? muy bien. Hay incluso programas del ej?rcito para mantener a miembros casados del servicio colocados juntos. Sin embargo las relaciones entre los mayores y los j?venes son prohibidas por UCMJ. Su fraternization llamado. No hay nada contra gente de otros servicios que tienen una relaci?n sino que no hay garant?a que le colocar?n junto. Eso podr?a ser una buena cosa o malo dependiendo de c?mo usted siente sobre su esposo. El mismo pelot?n puede ser fruncido el ce?o sobre sin embargo. El militar no es High School secundaria y usted debe intentar y evitar tener una relaci?n con una persona que usted tendr? que trabajar con diario, incluso si la relaci?n termina.

Twee Militairen kunnen dateren en zelfs huwen – nochtans zijn er regels tegen verbroedering. Fundamenteel:

- Een ambtenaar kan geen verhouding met een Aangeworven Militair hebben
- Een militair kan geen verhouding met iedereen in zijn/haar ketting van bevel hebben
- Een militair kan geen verhouding met een Militair *if* hebben zij de snelheid konden beïnvloeden waarbij dat Soldier' s carrièrevooruitgang.
